Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated:  11/02/2026

At TheTasteTrend (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe in transparency. You trust us to tell you what’s delicious – and we never want to break that trust.

Here’s how we make money (and why it doesn’t affect our opinions).

What Are Affiliate Links?

Some of the links on our blog and in our emails are “affiliate links.” This means if you click on a product link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission – at no extra cost to you.

Does This Affect Our Recommendations?

Absolutely not. We only recommend products, tools, and ingredients that we:

  • Have personally tested

  • Actually enjoy using

  • Believe would genuinely benefit our readers

Whether you buy through our link or search for the product yourself – our opinion stays the same.

Where You’ll See Affiliate Disclosures

In addition to this page, you’ll find a clear disclosure:

  • Above the fold (before you scroll) on every blog post that contains affiliate links

  • Usually near the recipe card or product recommendation section

Example wording you’ll see on posts:
“This post contains affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, TheTasteTrend earns from qualifying purchases.”

What About Sponsored Content?

If we are ever paid to write a post, create a video, or feature a product, we will clearly say so at the beginning of that content. Sponsored posts will never be disguised as regular articles.

Why We Use Affiliate Links

Running a blog costs money – hosting, photography gear, recipe testing ingredients, and our time. Affiliate commissions help us keep TheTasteTrend free for everyone. Thank you for supporting us.
